宜家幼兒園畢業

會談後試讀，八月份入學（享有優先入學名額）。

非宜家幼兒園畢學童

過年前會舉辦說明會，過年後開始安排試讀，試讀之後有意願者即安排家長會談，三月底前會確認是否錄取。(請留意我們的最新消息)

我們的教學模式：

Ivy's House小學部是以蒙特梭利教學法為主的實驗教育學校。我們的作息是每天至少三小時的工作流程，讓孩子自己練習選擇和安排學習的內容. 老師的教學是透過個別和小團體教學。 活動的安排也是透過和孩子們討論和學習內容的延伸和體驗 。

為了入學後順利適應，因此我們會進行學生試讀與家長會談，確保家長理解學校辦學理念，也讓孩子了解這裡的學習模式和作息型態。

Ivy's House小學部，需不需要遷戶籍，學籍如何處理？

不需要遷戶籍。申請機構時，教育局會配發學籍。畢業證書也會由配發之小學頒發。

Ivy's House小學部的上課時間為何？低年級是否上半天？

上課時間上午八點至下午四點半，均為全天班。目前是一到三年級的混齡。

孩子的交通、接送和午餐如何處理？

大湖國小附近就有大湖公園捷運站，學校亦可幫忙安排家長群互相支援接送。若家長有其他需求，可提出與學校討論。

午餐安排：

週一：學校供應（由學童分組帶菜）

週二、四：學校供應

週三：由家長輪班準備

週五：自帶便當

蒙特梭利小學上課方式有什麼不同？

因應未來瞬息萬變的世界，我們希望培養具有學習熱誠、有主動求知能力的未來人才，並能在團體中學習與他人合作共好，能突破學習框架的能力。以蒙特梭利教學法為主軸，能完整接軌未來新課綱。每天下午都有主題式社團，外聘專業教師，帶孩子探索不同領域的學習。

週五是戶外學習日，有登山、步道、文化藝術參訪、展館見學等活動，帶領孩子探索教室外面的廣闊世界。

長假的托育：寒、暑假期間，學校可協調提供托育嗎？

本校寒假與其他國小相同，共放假三週；暑假只放七月一個月，而將傳統的八月暑假打散到學期中間，預計會是四月春假、端午、國慶、元旦，各放一週，寒暑假老師分別要進修，所以不提供托育。學期中的假期，我們鼓勵父母安排親子旅遊，帶孩子多接觸戶外活動及培養親子感情。如果父母因為工作關係，不能放假，可與學校討論。

學校如何提供基本的健康照顧，如保健室？

大湖國小設有保健室，可提供基本醫護照顧。教室裡也備有急救箱，學生或有身體不適或受傷，老師會做第一時間的包紮處理，並通知家長，若需要送醫，也會立刻聯絡家長，家長在入學時，可留下平日熟悉的診所資料，以供學校參考。

Admission process: 

Children graduated from ivy's house kindergartens graduation 

After the initial meeting, there will be a trial study period, school starts in August. (children from ivy's house kindergartens are given admission priority)

Children graduated from non-ivy's house kindergartens 

An information session will be held before the New Year, and a trial study period will be arranged after the New Year. After the trial study period, the school will arrange a meeting with the parents who wish their child to continue studying at ivy's house elementary school, final admission decision will be confirmed before the end of March. (Please check from our announcement) 

Our teaching model:

ivy's house Elementary School is an experimental education school based on Montessori teaching methods. Our work process is at least three hours a day, allowing children to practice choosing and arranging learning content by themselves. Teacher's teaching is through individual and small group learning. Activities arrangements are also the extension and experience through discussions with children or learning contents from children's choices. 

In order to let the child adapt smoothly after enrollment, we will organize a trial study period and arrange talks with parents ensuring that parents understand the school's philosophy, and also let the child understand the school's learning mode, work, and rest schedules/patterns. 

Do I need to relocate my household registration, and how to deal with the student registration if I study at ivy's house Elementary School? 

There is no need to relocate the household registration. When applying for institutions, the education bureau will allocate the student's registration status. The graduation certificate will also be issued by the assigned elementary school. 

What are the class hours of ivy's house Elementary School? Is a half-day program for the lower grade students? 

The class time is from 8 am to 4:30 pm, and it is a full-day class. Currently, our school class is a mixed age of grade one to grade three.

How to deal with children's transportation, pick-up, and lunch? 

Dahu Park MRT station is nearby Dahu Elementary School, and the school can also help arrange the parent group pick up support. If parents have other needs, they are welcome to discuss with the school. 

Lunch arrangement: 

Monday: school supplies (grouped by children to bring dishes) 

Tuesday and Thursday: school supplies 

Wednesday: Prepared by parents in shifts 

Friday: Bring your own lunch bento box

What is the difference in the way of class in Montessori Elementary School? 

In response to the fast-changing world in the future, we hope to cultivate future talents with enthusiasm for learning, the ability to actively seek knowledge, the ability to cooperate with others in the group, and the ability to challenge the learning framework. We take the Montessori teaching method as the main core and believe that it can be fully integrated into the new curriculum of the future. 

Every afternoon there are themed clubs, and external professional teachers are hired to lead children to explore different areas of learning. 

Friday is an outdoor learning day. There are activities such as mountain climbing, trails, cultural and artistic visits, exhibition visits, and other activities that help lead children to explore the vast world outside the classroom.

Childcare during school breaks: Can the school coordinate to provide childcare during winter and summer vacations? 

The winter vacation duration of ivy's house elementary school is the same as other elementary schools, with a total of three weeks; 

The summer vacation duration of ivy's house elementary school is only one month in July. 

We rearrange the "traditional" summer vacations in August into the middle of the semesters. It is expected to be April Spring Break(one week), Dragon Boat Festival(one week), National Day(one week), and New Year's Day(one week).

During the winter and summer vacations, teachers have to conduct advanced study separately for one week, therefore childcare is not provided. 

During the mid-semesters holidays, we encourage parents to arrange parent-child travel, take their children to outdoor activities, and cultivate parent-child relationships. If parents cannot take a holiday due to work, they can discuss it directly with the school. 

How does the school provide basic health care, such as the healthcare room? 

Dahu Elementary School has a healthcare room that can provide basic medical care. The classroom is also equipped with first aid kits. If students are unwell or injured, teachers will do the first-aid treatment first and then notify the parents. If the child needs to be sent to the doctor, they will also contact the parents immediately. Parents can also leave their home doctor/regular visit clinics' information to the school as a reference, when the child enrolled for the school.
